As a photographer equipment is only part of what makes a good picture. The rest is having the right gut feeling about what looks right, being in the right place at the right time, lighting, your subject and good fortune. The rest is just time and experience.

Today our economy is very different than last year and more than two years ago. Everyone seems to have a digital camera with high resolution and some nifty lenses. But what they lack is experience and the ability to put it all together. Sure anyone can shoot a picture, just like anyone can run a race or drive a car. Doesn’t mean they can do it well or do it right. That’s where my experience differs from the amateur.

I have more than 10 years of shooting experience in many different situations. I shoot thousands of pictures each and every weekend from action sports to portrait and group photos. I am not your average shooter. I find ways to get better and am very critical of my own work.
